The mortar filling degree tester conforms to the test tube diameter and angle specified in the Railway Ministry’s industry standard for pipeline grouting technical requirements. Filling degree assessment: If the foam layer exceeds 1 mm in thickness, or if air pockets larger than 3 mm are present, or if there is water with a volume exceeding 1 mL, the filling degree shall be deemed non‑compliant. The filling degree angle is 120°, and the inner diameter of the filling degree tube is ￠40 mm with a length of 500 mm.

Test Method

1. Prepare the slurry according to the prescribed method.

2. Let the mixed slurry sit undisturbed for 1 minute.

3. Use the flow cone to pour the slurry into the filling tube fixed on the mounting frame.

4. After the grout has been fully injected, seal both ends of the round pipe with plastic film.

5. Store at 20°C ± 3°C for 7 days.

6. After 7 days, inspect the inside of the tube for any air bubbles larger than 3 mm in diameter, or for the presence of water pockets or water vapor, and check whether there are foam layers at both ends of the pipe.

Fill Level Determination

If there is a foam layer exceeding 1 mm in thickness, or if there are air bubbles with a diameter greater than 3 mm, or if there is water with a volume exceeding 1 ml, the filling degree indicator is deemed non‑compliant.
