The Emulsified Asphalt Storage Stability Tester is designed and manufactured according to the requirements specified in "Emulsified Asphalt Storage Stability Test" (T0655-1993), as outlined in the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China standard JTJ052-2000, the "Test Procedures for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures in Highway Engineering."
Suitable for determining the storage stability of various types of emulsified asphalt.

Usage Instructions and Steps
1. Wash the stability test tubes separately with solvent (gasoline can be used), cleaning solution, and clean water, then place them in an oven set at 105°C ± 5°C to dry. After cooling, securely plug the outlets of the upper and lower branch tubes with stoppers.
2. Pour approximately 300 mL of the uniform emulsified asphalt sample through a 1.18 mm sieve into the sample container.
3. Stir the filtered emulsion sample evenly with a glass rod, then slowly pour it into the stabilization test tube until the liquid level reaches the 250 mL mark on the tube’s wall. Be sure to avoid trapping any air bubbles in the side arm during the process. Finally, securely seal the tube opening with a stopper.
4. The Emulsified Asphalt Storage Stability Tester (Emulsified Asphalt Stability Instrument) places the sealed stability test tubes in a test tube rack and allows them to stand undisturbed at room temperature for 5 days and nights. During this period, regularly observe whether the emulsion shows signs of layering, sedimentation, or discoloration, and meticulously record any such observations along with the fluctuations in room temperature over the 5-day period (noting both the highest and lowest temperatures). If the produced emulsion is intended to be used up within 5 days, the storage stability test sample may also be left undisturbed for just 1 day and night. After standing, gently remove the stopper from the upper branch tube, allowing approximately 50 grams of the sample to flow out through the upper tube opening into an evaporation residue test container. Next, remove the stopper from the lower branch tube, carefully pouring out all the sample above the lower tube to collect it into a second container. Finally, thoroughly shake the sample remaining below the lower branch tube, tilt the stability tube slightly, and carefully drain about 50 grams of the residual sample from the lower tube opening into a third, pre-weighed evaporation residue test container.
5. Weigh the upper and lower portions separately, accurate to 0.2 g, then determine the evaporation residue contents PA and PB according to the method specified in "T0651-1993 Test Method for Determining the Content of Evaporated Residue in Emulsified Asphalt."
6. The storage stability of emulsified asphalt is calculated using the following formula, and its absolute value is taken: Emulsified Asphalt Storage Stability Tester.
