    Detailed Introduction to the ZCL-1 Fully Automatic Chloride Ion Analyzer

    Instrument Overview

    The ZCL-1 automatic chloride ion analyzer was developed in accordance with the national standard GB/T 176–2017, “Methods for Chemical Analysis of Cement.” This instrument utilizes components from well‑known domestic and international brands to ensure product stability, accuracy, and reliability. Guided by a user‑friendly design philosophy, the instrument boasts a high degree of automation and an intuitive, easy‑to‑learn operating interface. Coupled with a robust chassis and soft, pleasing color schemes, its sleek and practical exterior exudes both elegance and functionality.

    Instrument Introduction

    1. The national standard GB/T 176–2017, “Methods for Chemical Analysis of Cement,” was officially released on December 29, 2017, and will come into effect on November 1, 2018.

    2. Based on standard chemical analysis methods and verified through multiple parallel and cross‑validation tests, and further compared and validated against the CCL‑5 chloride ion analyzer, the instrument’s measurement results exhibit a repeatability of no more than 0.003% and a reproducibility of no more than 0.005%, both of which are superior to the limits specified in the standards, thereby ensuring the instrument’s accuracy.

    3. This instrument has been put to practical use and verified by various cement production enterprises. It has passed the testing and validation conducted by the Shandong Province Cement Quality Inspection Station, and its product quality meets the requirements and accuracy standards specified in GB/T176-2017 “Methods for Chemical Analysis of Cement.”

    Advantages of the Instrument

    1. The instrument features a 7-inch touch LCD screen with a Chinese-character prompt interface to guide operation. You can simply tap the screen to perform operations—easy and intuitive.
    2. The instrument displays the potential changes of the sample being tested in real time. Its built‑in optimized algorithm effectively filters out fluctuations during the titration process and automatically determines the titration endpoint. At the same time, it records a total of 20 data points—10 data points before and 10 data points after the titration endpoint—and calculates the relevant data. The recorded data can then be used by experimental personnel for verification. This effectively addresses the issues associated with curve-based display, such as cumbersome readings, a higher likelihood of errors, and inconvenient verification procedures.
    3. During the titration process, the instrument automatically identifies and promptly adjusts the titration speed, featuring an automatic fast-slow drop switching function. When approaching the titration endpoint, it automatically transitions from rapid drops to slow drops, effectively balancing efficiency with accuracy.
    4. The instrument stores the silver nitrate solution required for experiments in a large-capacity brown storage bottle placed inside the device, effectively preventing the silver nitrate from decomposing upon exposure to light and making it convenient for laboratory personnel to use. At the same time, a cleverly designed weak light source allows users to easily monitor the remaining amount of silver nitrate.

    5. The instrument is equipped with an automatic opening and closing mechanism on the brown storage bottle: it automatically opens when drawing liquid to prevent vacuuming, and automatically closes when not in use to prevent contact with air. Similar instruments from other organizations do not have this feature.
    6. The instrument is equipped with a 25 ml burette to ensure consistent consumable usage throughout a single experiment.

    7. Built-in circuitry in the instrument. The solenoid valve, piping, and burette all utilize high‑corrosion‑resistant PTFE components to ensure precision, service life, and light shielding. The accuracy of the measurement results surpasses that of externally configured circuits manufactured by certain other suppliers.
    8. The instrument’s work surface is made of 304 stainless steel, effectively preventing chemical reagents from dripping and corroding the outer casing during experiments, thereby preserving the instrument’s aesthetic appeal and extending its service life.
    9. Based on user feedback, the instrument is equipped with a miniature printer for convenient, real‑time, and accurate recording of test results.
    10. Automatic Instrument Cleaning Function: After the experiment is completed, the electrodes and microtitration tips can be stirred and cleaned. Additionally, lens paper is provided to help maintain the electrodes more effectively, ensuring accurate results for the next experiment.
    11. The instrument is equipped with data storage functionality and can save more than 3,000 sets of experimental data.
    12. The instrument is equipped with an operation video USB drive, providing a more intuitive understanding of the instrument’s usage and test procedures. The USB drive is also used to save and export experimental data.
    13. When the calomel electrode, chloride ion electrode, and titration head are securely fixed above the test area in appropriate proportions for testing, simply click the switch once to activate the test motor, which will automatically rise and fall to enter the testing state and then automatically retract upon completion of measurement. This significantly enhances the instrument’s level of automation.
    14. The titration accuracy of this instrument is pre‑set from 0.1 ml to 0.005 ml. Users can adjust the accuracy according to their titration needs—for example, if a precision of 0.01 ml is required during titration, or if a precision of 0.005 ml is needed—simply enter the desired value in the program on the LCD screen. This reflects a user‑friendly design philosophy and provides greater convenience for users.
