  • The electronic universal testing machine is suitable for tensile testing of materials such as rubber, plastics, textiles, waterproof materials, mortar insulation materials, electric wires and cables, nets, hard alloys, metal wires, metal rods, and metal plates. It complies with GB2611-81 "General Standards for Testing Machines", GB/T328-89 "Test Methods for Asphalt Waterproof Membranes", GB/T528-1998 "Determination of Tensile Properties of Vulcanized Rubber and Thermoplastic Rubber", GB12952-2003 "PVC Waterproof Membranes", GB/T14686-93 "Petroleum Asphalt Glass Fiber Felt", and JGJ-T70 "Basic Performance Test Methods for Building Mortar" and other national standards.

    • Main Frame

    Uses high-precision, zero-backlash precision ball screws to improve transmission efficiency and displacement accuracy. The upper crossbeam and worktable are fixed with high-strength polished rods, forming a high-rigidity frame structure.

    According to user needs, two sensors can be used to achieve a wide range of test force measurements.

    • Limit Switch

    The machine has limit protection and automatically stops when the limit is reached.

    During the entire test process, a large LCD screen displays real-time test force, peak value, displacement, speed, status, etc.

    Breakage Detection: When the specimen breaks, the moving crossbeam automatically stops moving.

    The testing machine controller consists of a main control board, keyboard, and display. The display is a touchscreen, as shown below. The main control board collects force and displacement signals, drives the motor according to test procedures, and obtains the required results. The main control board uses an ARM series 32-bit processor, which is powerful and fast. The following explains the signal wiring in detail.

    The main control board is connected to both the keyboard and display, receiving keyboard commands and outputting display information.

    The LCD can display test curves and multiple test results in real time. It can connect to various models of dot matrix or thermal micro-printers to print test curves and results. It supports many types of drive motors, such as DC speed controllers, stepper motors, servo motors, frequency converters, proportional valves, etc. It is suitable for harsh factory environments as well as clean laboratory environments, offering fast and flexible operation.

    All types of motors can perform force closed-loop control.

    The front of the measurement and control instrument can be divided into two parts:

    2.3 Function introduction of each panel key:

    LCD screen: displays force value, peak value, displacement, speed, prompts, test curves, etc.

    The LCD is a touchscreen; all test functions can be completed by clicking text or images on the screen. The keyboard is provided for convenience to reduce screen taps and increase device reliability.

    Keyboard: used with the LCD to control operations, change parameter values, and control motor operation.

    During normal testing, generally only the keyboard is operated; the screen is only clicked during calibration and parameter setting.

    2.4 Detailed Introduction:

    The following details the display and functions of each screen, interspersed with button usage explanations.

    This is the screen that appears immediately after powering on. It displays the company logo. You need to click [Chinese] on the screen or press any key once to display the next screen, as shown in Figure 2:

    In Figure 2, there is an asterisk (*) before "Tensile Test," indicating that the currently selected test method is the tensile test.

    Clicking any row on the screen selects the corresponding test method. The and keys on the keyboard can also be used to select the test method.

    Assuming "Tensile Test" is selected, click Confirm on the screen or press the key to enter the next page, shown in Figure 3:

    On the screen shown in Figure 3, clicking "Test" or pressing the key starts the tensile test process and automatically ends according to the preset conditions. Clicking the force box, deformation box, or displacement box performs zeroing of force, deformation, or displacement respectively. Pressing the key zeroes force, deformation, and displacement simultaneously. Clicking "Query" or pressing the key queries test results. Clicking "Adjust" displays the screen shown in Figure 4, allowing adjustment of the crossbeam clamp fixture position.

    In Figure 4, clicking "Increase Speed" or "Decrease Speed" changes the speed. The key can also change the speed.

    Returning to Figure 3, click the settings in the upper left corner of the screen, or press the button to switch to the screen shown in Figure 5:

    In Figure 5, click "Test Method Selection" to switch to the screen shown in Figure 2.

    Use of the Testing Machine

    1. Before use, check whether all parts of the instrument are properly connected. Only power on after confirming everything is correct;

    2. Turn on the power switch. After powering on, select to use Chinese. After selecting the test method, press the settings button to set the test parameters. After setting the test conditions, press the save button to save. After saving, press the previous page button to enter the test interface.

    3. First select the required speed, use the "Up" or "Down" buttons to adjust the distance between the fixtures according to the length of the specimen; install the specimen with both ends flat inside the fixtures and secure it firmly;

    4. Press the "Test" button, and the instrument will automatically enter the test program;

    5. When the specimen bears the force value, the force value will automatically enter the counting program.

    6. At the moment the specimen tears, the instrument collects the peak tensile force value of the specimen and records and displays it.

    7. Press the "Clear" button to make the instrument enter the preparation program for the next test;

     

    Operating Precautions

    1. Before starting the testing machine, be sure to check the position of the limit block to ensure it meets the test stroke requirements and prevents the upper and lower fixtures from colliding.

    2. The red mushroom-shaped button on the main machine is the emergency stop button of the testing machine. Press it immediately in case of emergency.

    3. During the movement of the crossbeam, when the limit switch touches the limit bracket on the moving crossbeam, it will stop moving. This prevents the upper and lower fixtures from colliding and causing damage. To restart the testing machine, simply press the button on the instrument opposite to the original running direction to make the crossbeam run in the opposite direction. There is no need to turn off the emergency stop and power off and on again (therefore, before testing, be sure to adjust the position of the limit bracket so that the upper and lower fixtures do not collide).

    The testing machine is a large precision instrument. Due to the influence of air humidity and other factors, the exposed workbench, upper and lower crossbeams, and attachments are prone to rust. Therefore, it is recommended that users apply anti-rust oil to these parts once a month to prevent rust.

    After each test, promptly clean debris and other dirt to prevent accidental damage to the instrument and reduce the service life of the testing machine. Please use the machine correctly as instructed by the debugging personnel and take care of the machine. Otherwise, you will bear the consequences yourself, and the manufacturer will not be responsible.

    After each test, please store all attachments properly to prevent loss and prepare for the next use.

    When connecting electrical wires, carefully check the solder joints and connections to the equipment before connecting correctly. The force should be appropriate. Avoid forceful plugging or pulling. The manufacturer is not responsible for equipment malfunction caused by such actions.
