    This testing machine is suitable for pressure testing of various plastic pipes, plastic corrugated pipes, etc. A square steel block is placed on the specimen, and a slowly increasing force is applied by a jack. The change in the outer diameter at the flattened part of the specimen is measured by a large-range dial gauge, and the mechanical properties of the specimen are checked. It complies with GB/T14823.2 "Special Requirements for Electrical Installation Conduits—Rigid Insulated Material Flat Conduits", JG3050 "Insulated Electrical Conduits and Accessories for Construction", and ZBG33008 "Polyethylene Plastic Corrugated Electrical Wire Conduits" standards.

    Compared with other tensile and compression testing machines, this testing machine features constant pressure, precise measurement of outer diameter changes, convenient operation, and intuitive reliability. Therefore, its application is becoming increasingly widespread.

    Structure

    The testing machine consists of a base, lifting plate, jack, dial gauge deformation measurement device, pressure acquisition instrument, and other components.

    Installation and Use

    4.1 Loosen the bindings, clean the surface of the testing machine, and reapply light oil to the moving parts.

    4.2 Install and adjust the base bolts to make the base basically level and position the lifting plate at the lower point.

    4.3 Install the dial gauge according to different types of conduits.

    4.4 First measure the outer diameter D1 of the specimen. Place the specimen under the lifting plate, rotate the force lever clockwise to raise the lifting plate until the specimen contacts the press head. Before the top of the press head contacts the specimen, adjust the dial gauge probe contact with the adjusting lever so that the dial gauge pointer is set to "0".

    4.5 Continue raising the plate until the top of the press head reaches the specified pressure. After 1 minute, record the dial gauge reading. This value is the difference between the specimen's original outer diameter D1 and the flattened outer diameter D2, which should not exceed 25% of D2.

    4.6 Rotate the force lever counterclockwise to slowly lower the lifting plate. Due to the jack's damping effect, you may need to press down on the plate by hand to lower it to the lowest point.

    4.7 After another minute, use measuring tools such as a vernier caliper to measure the outer diameter D3 at the flattened part of the specimen. The difference between D3 and D1 should not exceed 10% of D1.

    4.8 Then check the specimen surface for any cracks.

    During calibration, first zero the device, then place the force gauge properly, start applying pressure, try to reach the maximum value, enter the value displayed on the force gauge, and click confirm.

    Precautions

    5.1 After the test, clean the press head, plate, etc., and store them in a dry place.

    5.2 Except during testing, the dial gauge probe should remain free. Improper use may damage the dial gauge.
