Purpose
This instrument is suitable for measuring the thickness of vulcanized rubber and plastic products.
This instrument is carefully designed and manufactured according to the thickness requirements in GB18173-2000 "Polymer Waterproof Membranes" and GB18242-2000 "Elastomer Modified Asphalt Waterproof Membranes" and GB18243-2000 "Plastic Modified Asphalt Waterproof Membranes" standards. The instrument has a simple structure, is easy to use, portable, and handheld for measurement. It complies with the relevant provisions of GB527 "General Requirements for Physical Testing Methods of Vulcanized Rubber", GB5723 "General Provisions for Size Measurement of Test Pieces and Products for Vulcanized Rubber Testing", HG2041 "Technical Conditions for Rubber Thickness Gauges", and the parallel methods of GB/T12828-91 "Determination of Plasticity and Recovery Values of Raw Rubber and Compounded Rubber". It is also designed according to the thickness requirements in GB/T6672-2001 "Mechanical Measurement Methods for Plastic Films and Sheets" and SL235-2012 "Testing Procedures for Geosynthetic Materials".

2. Graduation value: 0.01mm √ 0.001mm
3. Diameter of upper measuring foot: 10±0.5mm, 6±0.5mm
4. Applied pressure: 20±2KPa
Usage Instructions
1. Open the packaging box, fit the aluminum thin ring from the packaging box onto the step on the lower platform of the thickness gauge, and place it level.
2. Before testing, first align the dial to zero, and operate the lever a few times to return to zero before testing. Handle gently to avoid damaging the platform, measuring foot, and instrument.
3. Press down the operating lever with your finger to raise the measuring head, place the object to be measured between the workbench and the measuring foot, then gently release the lever. The instrument reading at this time is the thickness of the object.
4. After using the thickness gauge, place it back into the instrument box and store it in a dry place to prevent moisture.
5. This instrument cannot be used for horizontal measurement.
