Connect the measuring probe and the instrument host with the dedicated transmission cable. After turning on the host, place the tip of the measuring probe close to the crack to be measured. The host display will show the magnified crack; fine-tune the position of the measuring probe so that the crack is perpendicular to the screen scale line, then interpret the actual width of the crack based on the crack image.
Instrument Calibration
The 2mm scale line of the standard scale can be seen on the screen. When adjusting the measuring probe position for calibration, first align the measuring probe with the two reference lines on the upper and lower edges of the calibration scale plate. If the magnified image of the standard 2mm scale line coincides with the 2mm scale line on the screen and the error does not exceed 0.02mm, it indicates that the instrument's magnification is within the normal range and can be used normally. If the error exceeds 0.02mm, please contact us.

1. Please charge before first use. The charger indicator light will turn green when charging is complete.
2. Before use, check the scale line on the calibration plate. The error between the magnified 2mm image and the 2mm on the screen should be less than 0.02mm.
3. When measuring, try to keep the crack image perpendicular to the screen scale line.
4. Keep the measuring lens clean. Only use an air blower or soft brush for cleaning.
5. The instrument undergoes strict calibration before leaving the factory and generally does not require self-adjustment of the camera probe. If the error exceeds 0.02mm, please contact the manufacturer for calibration.
6. The number of indicator lights lit on the upper right of the instrument represents the remaining battery power, each segment equals 25%.
7. The instrument will automatically shut down after being idle for more than ten minutes to save power.
Troubleshooting
Fault 1: After powering on, the host screen shows no display → Check if the battery is installed properly and if the battery is sufficiently charged. → Check if the connection between the host and the measuring probe is stable and inspect the cable for any damage.
Fault 2: When observing cracks, the edges of the crack image are blurry → Clean the surface of the crack to be measured to make it relatively flat.
