Introduction

The HC-X6 Rebar Corrosion Detector is used to detect the degree of corrosion in steel bars within concrete structures. It features three detection functions: corrosion half-cell potential measurement, potential gradient measurement, and concrete resistivity measurement. It meets various detection needs and is a portable, accurate, and easy-to-use new rebar corrosion detector that fully complies with relevant national metrology testing standards.

Precautions

1. Do not apply excessive force during normal use to avoid damaging the copper sulfate electrode.
2. When the electrode rod inside the copper sulfate electrode turns black, polish the rod with fine sandpaper until the original copper color is restored.
3. When not in use for a long time, store the electrode with the bottom facing up to prevent copper sulfate precipitation. It is also recommended to wrap the electrode core with cling film or similar to prevent contamination.
4. After connecting the resistivity test electrode to the instrument, do not allow it to contact any charged or conductive materials except concrete and calibration rulers to prevent damage to the instrument.
5. Avoid water ingress and high temperatures (>50℃).
6. After use, there is no need to pour out the liquid inside the electrode; it can be used permanently. (It is recommended to replace the electrode liquid every six months.)
7. Avoid proximity to very strong magnetic fields, such as large electromagnets or large transformers. 8. Do not open the instrument casing without permission; otherwise, consequences are at your own risk.
