Purpose

This instrument is used to measure the thickness of gypsum boards and can also be used to measure the thickness of other materials. However, depending on the material and size being measured, the upper and lower probes need to be replaced (this instrument does not come with accessories). For example, measuring the depth of the spiral groove on a drill bit (using a pointed probe); measuring the thickness of wood boards, plywood, composite boards, etc. (using a spherical probe). This instrument is operated with one hand and is convenient to use.

The instrument complies with the requirements of the national standard GB/T9775-1999 "Paper-faced Gypsum Board."
