Product Introduction

The SZ-1 Plastic Track Three-Needle Thickness Gauge is specially designed for accurately measuring and accepting the construction quality of artificial turf and plastic tracks. It is suitable for manufacturers of plastic tracks/artificial turf, construction units, third-party testing laboratories, quality supervision and inspection agencies, and other customers.

The Plastic Track Three-Needle Thickness Gauge is designed and manufactured in accordance with standards GB36246-2019 "Synthetic Material Surface Sports Fields for Primary and Secondary Schools", GB/T14833-2011 "Synthetic Material Track Surface", and GB/T22517.6-2011 "Requirements and Test Methods for Sports Venues Part 6: Athletics Field Testing".

Product Parameters

C.1 Measuring Instrument: Three-Needle Thickness Gauge (range) 0-50mm with an accuracy of 1 mm.

Operating Instructions

C.2 Measurement Method: At least 12 points should be taken for each field. Starting from the end line of the field, measure 3 rows of points towards the opposite side, with 4 test points per row, evenly arranged according to the length of the field. Place the three-needle thickness gauge on the field, hold the professional thickness gauge vertically downward, press it onto the sports surface until the base layer surface is reached, then stop. The corresponding number on the professional thickness gauge is the measured thickness.

C.3 Result Calculation

C.3.1 Take the average of the measured thickness values at each test point as the average thickness, accurate to one decimal place.

C.3.2 The percentage of the area with thickness less than 10% of the specified thickness is calculated according to formula (C.1).
