Product Introduction

This machine is used for dispersing fibers for asphalt pavement, meeting the standard requirements of JT/T533-2020 "Fibers for Asphalt Pavement." It features a four-blade cutter head with a speed of 20,000-30,000 r/min, making it an ideal device for use in oil absorption rate tests.

Usage Instructions

Open the top cover (turn clockwise to close, counterclockwise to open).

Place the fiber material into the crushing chamber (according to different specifications and models).

Close the top cover tightly and press down the locking buckle.

Plug in the power and turn on the switch to start crushing.

During the crushing process, when the rolling sound becomes uniform, it indicates the material has been evenly crushed.

Crushing is complete.

Cut off the power. After the machine stops completely, unlock the latch (lift it up by hand), open the top cover, and pour out the crushed material. Use the supplied brush to clean the material off the walls of the crushing chamber. If filtering is needed, use the provided small sieve.

Common Causes and Solutions for Crusher Malfunctions

Motor does not run after power is on.	Poor power connection or loose plug. Poor switch contact or timer malfunction. Carbon brush not contacting the commutator surface or severely worn. Blown fuse. (2) After power on, motor emits buzzing noise, rotates slowly or does not rotate.	1. Switch contact burned. 2. Crushed material is damp, excessively jamming the blades. 3. Motor short circuit. 4. Power voltage too low.	1. Repair or replace switch. 2. Immediately cut off power (to prevent motor damage) and remove jammed material. 3. Repair by professional personnel. 4. Adjust power voltage.
(3) Motor casing surface overheats, motor stops running.	1. Crushing time too long. 2. Overload. 3. Motor damp. 4. Shaft collar misaligned. 5. Power voltage drop.	1. Reduce working pressure and working time. 2. Repair at local dealer or send back to manufacturer. 3. Dry the motor. 4. Adjust power voltage.
(4) Arcing or large sparks on commutator surface.	1. Motor short circuit or open circuit. 2. Poor contact between carbon brush and commutator. 3. Commutator surface not smooth.	1. Repair by professional personnel. 2. Readjust spring pressure for good contact or replace carbon brush. 3. Clean debris from commutator surface.

Precautions

Please read this manual carefully before use and pay attention to the following:

01. After unpacking, check if the product is damaged and verify if all accessories are complete;

02. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced with a special cord or components purchased from the manufacturer or repair department;

03. Before use, confirm that the voltage used matches the rated voltage on the nameplate and that the power supply is grounded;

04. Children are prohibited from using the machine without supervision;

05. Be careful when removing cutting blades, emptying the mixing bowl, and cleaning;

06. The crushed material must not exceed two-thirds of the crushing chamber volume; the chamber must not be filled or overloaded;

07. When not in use or during cleaning, unplug the power; do not wash the main unit directly with water or immerse it in water or other solutions; the crushing chamber must not be washed with water;

08. Do not use accessories not provided by this company to avoid danger;

09. Disconnect the power before leaving the machine unattended or before disassembly and cleaning;

10. When assembling the lid and crushing chamber, fully tighten the two bolts on the lid to avoid the risk of detachment;

11. Generally, crushing normal materials takes only 30 seconds; harder materials require 60 seconds. You can adjust the working time and frequency of the crusher according to your needs;

12. This machine cannot work continuously for long periods; each continuous operation must not exceed 500 seconds to prevent overheating. When reusing, wait until the machine body is completely cooled before use. Overloading is strictly prohibited.

13. The motor is equipped with an overheating protection device. During operation, the motor will stop working due to overheating. At this time, the power should be cut off and restarted only after it has completely cooled down.

14. It is strictly forbidden to turn on the power switch or timer switch when the upper cover is open. The cover can only be opened after the power is off.

15. After long-term use, the carbon brushes and blades will wear out and need to be replaced.

16. Before crushing, check whether the blade fixing screws are loose and whether the blade rotates normally.

17. Do not let the machine run empty.

18. Do not use the machine in high-temperature environments.

19. Do not use outdoors; for household use only. Do not use for other purposes.

20. Turn off the power switch and disconnect the power before replacing accessories or touching moving parts.

21. Ensure the appliance is turned off before moving the base.

22. In case of malfunction, immediately unplug the power cord. Do not operate defective products. Repairing at unauthorized service centers may cause other safety hazards.
