Purpose

The TYT-3 manual demolding device is a specialized equipment designed to extract samples from test cylinders in compaction tests of lime soil, asphalt, clay, etc.

Features

This demolding device uses a jack as the power source, featuring a simple and reliable structure, high output force (over three tons), and convenient, labor-saving operation. It is suitable for indoor or on-site use without power supply and is compatible with various compaction instruments.

It can push out specimens from various compaction cylinders including heavy type (φ152), light type (φ102), and light type (φ100).

Structure

It consists of a base, three upright columns, and an upper ring forming a reaction frame. The frame is equipped with jacks of three disc sizes: φ52, φ102, and φ152.

It has pistons of φ98 and φ148, suitable for pushing out specimens from five types of cylinders: φ50, φ100, φ150, and φ152.

There is an adjustable lifting tray in the middle.

To accommodate different cylinder sizes, it includes two types of positioning rings—light and heavy—to ensure accurate and damage-free specimen ejection.

Usage

Place the compacted test cylinder on the tray. Depending on the cylinder size, select different liners and pistons. For large cylinders φ152, place directly on the tray, remove the upper pressing ring, and install a φ150 piston on the jack head. For small cylinders φ102 (national standard) or

φ100 (department standard), add a liner on the tray, install the upper pressing ring, and fit a φ100 or φ98 piston.

Position the cylinder on the tray, tighten the oil valve (close) at one end of the jack's special lever, then use the lever to push the jack piston to eject the soil sample from the compaction cylinder.

After ejecting the soil sample, loosen the oil valve, gently push the piston down from the top to reset, and clean off dust for the next use.
