The emulsified asphalt storage stability tester is designed and manufactured according to the requirements specified in the "Emulsified Asphalt Storage Stability Test" (T0655-1993) of the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China standard JTJ052-2000 "Test Procedures for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures in Highway Engineering."

Usage Methods and Steps
1. Clean the stability test tubes separately with solvent (gasoline can be used), washing solution, and clean water, then dry them in an oven at 105℃±5℃. After cooling, plug the outlets of the upper and lower branches with stoppers.
2. Filter approximately 300mL of uniform emulsified asphalt sample through a 1.18mm sieve into the sample container.
3. Stir the filtered emulsion sample evenly with a glass rod and slowly pour it into the stability test tube until the liquid level reaches the 250mL mark on the tube wall. Ensure no bubbles adhere to the branch tube during pouring. Then plug the tube mouth with a stopper.
4. Place the sealed stability test tube containing the sample on the test tube rack of the emulsified asphalt storage stability tester and let it stand at room temperature for 5 days and nights. During the standing period, frequently observe whether the emulsion separates, precipitates, or changes color, and record the observations along with the room temperature changes (highest and lowest) within 5 days. If the produced emulsion is planned to be used within 5 days, the storage stability test sample can also be left to stand for 1 day and night. After standing, gently remove the stopper from the upper branch tube and collect about 50g of sample flowing out into an evaporation residue test container. Then remove the stopper from the lower branch tube and pour all the sample above the lower branch into another container. Shake the sample below the lower branch thoroughly, tilt the stability tube, and collect about 50g of the remaining sample flowing out from the lower branch tube into a third pre-weighed evaporation residue test container.
5. Weigh the upper and lower parts separately, accurate to 0.2g, then determine the evaporation residue content PA and PB according to the "T0651-1993 Emulsified Asphalt Evaporation Residue Content Test" method.
6. Calculate the emulsified asphalt storage stability according to the following formula, taking the absolute value: emulsified asphalt storage stability tester.
