  • Product Introduction

    The rock elastic modulus tester, also known as the dial gauge frame, is suitable for determining the uniaxial compressive deformation parameters of rocks. The upper and lower frames are made of aluminum alloy, featuring a simple structure and easy assembly, complying with the requirements of DZ/T0276.19-2015 "Test Procedures for Physical and Mechanical Properties of Rocks Part 19: Uniaxial Compressive Deformation Test of Rocks." The elastic modulus refers to the ratio of longitudinal stress to longitudinal strain of the rock specimen under uniaxial compression without lateral constraints; the deformation modulus refers to the slope of the secant line connecting the origin and the point corresponding to 50% of the compressive strength on the rock stress-longitudinal strain curve under uniaxial compression without lateral constraints; Poisson's ratio refers to the ratio of lateral strain to longitudinal strain of the rock specimen under uniaxial compression without lateral constraints.

    Product Parameters

    Applicable specimen: Diameter 50MM
    Dial gauge: 1/0.001MM
    Gauge length: 50MM
    Dimensions: 15X15X15CM

    Usage Method

    (1) Sample Preparation
    1) Specimen specifications: The specimen should be a neat cylinder with a diameter of about 50mm and a height-to-diameter ratio of 2.0 to 3.0;
    2) Number of specimens: Each group should have no less than 3 specimens, and the average value is taken as the uniaxial compressive strength;
    3) Specimen processing accuracy: The flatness of the specimen end face should be less than 0.02mm; axial perpendicularity should not exceed 0.001 radians; side surface unevenness should be less than 0.3mm;
    4) Specimen moisture condition: The storage period of the specimen should not exceed 30 days, and the natural moisture content should be maintained as much as possible.
    (2) Sample Description
    Before testing, verify the rock name and its number. Describe the specimen's color, grains, bedding, joints, fractures, weathering degree, moisture condition, etc., and record them in the form.
    (3) Check specimen processing accuracy and measure specimen dimensions
    Use a specialized leveling platform to check the specimen processing accuracy. Measure the specimen diameter at the middle height in two mutually perpendicular directions, take the average, and record it in the form.
    (4) Specimen Loading
    Start the press and make it ready for use. Place the specimen at the center of the press pressure plate to ensure uniform force on the top and bottom surfaces. Load at a speed of 0.5 to 1 MPa per second until failure. Record the failure load and describe the failed specimen.
