The TDW-5A benchtop mineral powder centrifuge is constructed from high-quality cold-rolled steel and equipped with a brushless DC motor. Its control system features microcomputer-based touch operation, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing design, low noise, minimal vibration, adjustable rotational speed, and precise timing. Instructions

1. This unit is equipped with a three-prong safety plug; before use, ensure that the corresponding power outlet is properly grounded. During operation, place the unit on a level, stable work surface.

2. Insert the machine’s power plug into a three-prong outlet and turn on the power.

3. Open the machine cover and carefully place the sample into the centrifuge cup, taking care to ensure that symmetrically positioned cups each contain samples of equal weight, with a weight difference not exceeding 0.3 g.

4. Close the lid, press the “Select” button once—the “Rotor Number” display will flash; use the “▲” or “▼” buttons to set it to “1”. Press the “Select” button again—the “Speed” display will flash; use the “▲” or “▼” buttons to set the desired speed. Press the “Select” button once more—the “Time” display will flash; use the “▲” or “▼” buttons to set the centrifugation time. Finally, press the “Confirm” button once to lock in the settings. Then press the “Start” button, and the instrument will operate according to the parameters you have set.

5. If you need to stop the machine during operation, press the “Stop” button. If you later want the machine to resume operation, simply press the “Start” button again.

6. Upon completion of operation, the buzzer will sound continuously nine times to alert the user that the machine has stopped; the sample can then be removed by opening the lid. After use, unplug the power cord, place the instrument in a dry, well-ventilated, and shaded area, and keep it clean.

7. This unit is equipped with a memory function: if the speed and timer settings remain unchanged for the next operation, you can skip the setup steps and simply press the “Start” button to begin operation.

Precautions

1. The turntable should be protected from corrosion caused by exposure to strong acids or bases.

2. The samples in the symmetric centrifugal cups shall be consistent.

3. As a complete machine, regular maintenance is essential.
