How to use

1. Rotate the small handwheel to open the knurled eccentric ball, clamp one end of the rubber test specimen into it, then rotate the other end of the specimen counterclockwise and press it firmly against the working roller using the adjustable pressure roller.

2. Start the motor to rotate the grinding wheel in the direction shown in the front view.

3. Rotate the handwheel to move the upper carriage along the lower guide rail in the feed direction; the handwheel is equipped with a dial scale, with each small division representing 0.02 millimeters.

4. The handwheel is equipped with a safety device. The handwheel must be turned only in the counterclockwise direction; applying excessive force in the opposite direction will damage the safety device.

5. When operating the grinding machine, perform rough grinding first, followed by fine grinding.

Maintenance and Care

1. If uneven thickness or surface irregularities are observed on the ground test specimens, check whether the grinding wheel surface is parallel.

2. If the grinding wheel is found to be out of balance or out of round, use a cutoff tool to dress the surface.

3. Regularly apply lubricant to the work surface of the carriage to ensure normal operation.

4. Regularly adjust the clearance between the nut and the lead screw.

5. The equipment shall be installed in an environment free from vibration and sources of contamination.
