    This instrument is developed based on the T0709 Marshall Stability Test standard in the "Specifications for Highway Engineering and Asphalt Mixture Testing" (JTG E20-2011) issued by the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China. It is suitable for Marshall stability tests and water-immersed Marshall stability tests to conduct mix design of asphalt mixtures or quality inspection of asphalt pavement construction. This method applies to standard Marshall specimens (cylinders of Φ101.6mm×63.5mm) and large Marshall specimens (cylinders of Φ152.4mm×95.3mm) formed according to T0702 in JTG E20-2011.

    Instrument Composition

    The Marshall Stability Automatic Testing Machine includes the main unit, force measuring device, flow value measuring device, printing device, and related accessories. It is used to measure stability and flow values in the Marshall test. Additionally, the main unit of this testing instrument requires only minor modifications and relevant accessories to perform various tests requiring vertical load application.

    Features

    1. Capable of automatic loading, automatic shutdown, data display, data acquisition, peak value determination, peak value holding, and data printing functions.
    2. The circuit adopts separation of high and low voltage, digital and analog separation; electronic components are all high-quality, with a wide operating temperature range, stable performance, good repeatability, and strong anti-interference capability.
    3. Employs triple self-protection functions in hardware and software to ensure safety and reliability during testing. The machine is aesthetically pleasing and lightweight. 4. Utilizes modular design concepts, with relatively independent functional modules for easy maintenance and repair.

    Designed and manufactured according to the requirements of the 2011 "Marshall Stability Test for Asphalt Mixtures," it is suitable for Marshall stability testing of asphalt mixtures and can accurately determine the failure point of asphalt mixtures for mix design or quality inspection of asphalt pavement construction.

    Computer Numerical Control Marshall Stability Tester Technical Highlights

    1. The instrument features parameter setting, calibration, automatic test control, automatic data acquisition, real-time clock, etc. The control unit simultaneously collects test data for specimen stability and flow value and automatically determines peak values.
    2. This instrument uses a large graphical LCD screen to directly display stability values, flow value test data, curve graphs, test results, and test time, with Chinese characters for intuitive test effect display.
    3. The instrument can internally store 100 sets of test data and test times, which can be recalled and viewed at any time. The entire test is completed automatically and can automatically return to the initial position.
    4. Equipped with an RS232 serial communication port for easy communication with a host computer for data processing, storage, printing, and display. It can also be controlled by a computer for testing and printing.
    5. The instrument also has manual control functions for lifting, lowering, and stopping, facilitating user operation.
    Note: The Φ100mm specimen loading fixture is the standard configuration of this instrument. Users can also choose from two other configurations:
    1. Specimen loading fixture: Φ150mm, 1 set;
    2. Specimen loading fixtures: one set each of Φ100mm and Φ150mm.
