  • The hollow glass dew point meter developed by our company is in accordance with GB/T11944-2012,

    GB50411-2019 "Hollow Glass" standard section 6.4 dew point test requirements, independently developed

    testing instrument, used to detect whether condensation occurs on the inner surface of hollow glass samples under the conditions and methods specified by the standard, and to determine according to section 5.5 of the standard.

    Dry ice dew point meter usage method

    1. Pour about 25mm of ethanol (or acetone) into the glass tube of the dew point meter, then add dry ice to lower the temperature to -60℃, turn on the digital thermometer, and insert the thermometer into the glass tube.

    Observe the dew point meter temperature, and throughout the test add dry ice into the glass tube

    to maintain the temperature at -60℃.

    2. Pour a small amount of ethanol (or acetone) on the sample surface, closely contact the dew point meter with the sample surface, and hold for 3 minutes.

    3. Remove the dew point meter and immediately observe whether there is condensation or frost on the inner surface of the glass sample.

    Precautions

    1. After the test, clean the inside and bottom of the dew point meter container.

    2. Clean the thermometer probe thoroughly.

    3. Organize the test report according to the content specified by the national standard.

    4. The solvent used during the test is ethanol.

    5. Ensure air circulation during the test.

    6. Test conditions and procedures should be performed according to the standard.

    7. Keep the contact surface between the glass sample and the dew point meter clean.
