The dew-point meter for insulated glass developed by our company is manufactured in accordance with GB/T 11944-2012.
The requirements for the dew point test specified in Section 6.4 of GB50411-2019 “Insulated Glass” standard—developed independently.
The developed test instrument is designed to detect whether condensation forms on the inner surface of hollow glass samples under the standard specified conditions and methods, and to determine whether condensation occurs according to criterion 5.5 in the standard.

How to Use a Dry Ice Dew Point Meter
1. Inject approximately 25 mm of ethanol (or acetone) into the glass tube of the dew-point instrument, then add dry ice to lower the temperature to -60℃. Turn on the digital display thermometer and insert the thermometer into the glass tube.
Inside, observe the dew-point instrument’s temperature and, throughout the entire test process, add dry ice into the glass tube.
Maintain the temperature at -60℃.
2. Pour a small amount of ethanol (or acetone) onto the sample surface, bring the dew-point instrument into close contact with the sample surface, and hold it in place for 3 minutes.
3. Remove the dew point instrument and immediately observe whether there is condensation or frost on the inner surface of the glass sample.
Precautions
1. End the test and thoroughly clean the dew point instrument’s container and its base surface.
2. Clean the thermometer probe thoroughly.
3. Compile the test report according to the content specified in the national standards.
4. The solvent used throughout the experiment was ethanol.
5. Ensure air circulation during the test.
6. The test conditions and test procedures shall be carried out in accordance with the specifications outlined in the standard.
7. Keep the contact surface between the glass sample and the dew point meter clean.
