    The 40×40-type new-standard cement compressive testing fixture primarily consists of a lower fixture base, an upper fixture base, standard clamping rollers, and upper and lower pressure bars for the splitting test fixture. The lower fixture base is secured to the press piston via locating pins and washers, while the upper fixture base is fixed to the press crossbeam using an upper support, diamond-shaped pins, and the press’s locating pins together with two internal hexagon screws.

    How to use

    1. Visually inspect the appearance. The cement compressive testing fixture shall be kept clean and free from dents or scratches, and shall be equipped with a securely affixed nameplate.

    2. The upper and lower pressure plates shall be made of hard steel, with a length of 40 ± 0.1 mm, a width of 40 mm, and a thickness greater than 10 mm.

    3. The planar tolerance of the entire contact surface between the upper and lower pressure plates and the test specimen shall be 0.01 mm, and the free distance between the upper and lower pressure plates shall be greater than 45 mm.

    4. The center of the ball socket on the upper platen shall coincide with the intersection of the fixture’s central axis and the lower surface of the upper platen, with a tolerance of ±1 mm; the upper platen will automatically level itself upon contact with the test specimen.

    Precautions for Use

    (1) Before use, verify that the limit dimensions are still in the correct position.

    (2) If the stop pin is excessively worn, it can be ground and repaired; if the stop plate, pin, or locating taper-pin are excessively worn, they can be reassembled after staggering the worn areas, and then continued in service.
